Meet Brandon: Co-Kitchen Manager
If you’ve enjoyed a special at FEED lately and thought, “Wow, this just feels right,” there’s a good chance you have Brandon to thank.
Brandon’s journey in the restaurant world started back in 2008, humbly working dish at Mojo Burrito. What began behind the sink quickly turned into a calling. Through grit, curiosity, and a whole lot of hard work, he climbed the ranks all the way to General Manager—helping open several stores across the area along the way. His path continued at St. John’s Meeting Place in 2014, where he spent several formative years before graduating to St. John’s and later helping open Kenny’s, further cementing his reputation as a steady, thoughtful leader in the kitchen.
In 2018, Brandon took on one of his most important roles yet: becoming a dad. Like so many in the industry, the challenges of COVID eventually pulled him in a new direction. He stepped away from restaurants to work in construction—designing closets, remodeling bathrooms, and sharpening a different kind of craftsmanship. But as it turns out, the kitchen never really leaves you.
In 2025, Brandon “stumbled” into FEED—and we’re incredibly glad he did. Today, Brandon serves as our co–kitchen manager, where he’s responsible for developing specials, scheduling, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring consistency and efficiency—all while helping foster the fun, positive environment our team and guests feel every day.
His favorite part of the job? Creativity. And more specifically: soup. To Brandon, soup isn’t just food—it’s memory, comfort, and connection. “Soup speaks to the soul,” he says. Certain soups take you right back to your grandma’s kitchen, to childhood, to a place where everything felt safe and familiar. That belief shows up in every pot he stirs and every special he creates.
When he’s not in the kitchen, Brandon is all about the outdoors. You’ll find him spending time with his daughter, hiking, swimming, fishing—anything that keeps him outside and grounded.
We’re grateful Brandon found his way to FEED. His experience, creativity, and heart make our kitchen stronger, our food better, and our team better for it. Next time you see specials on the board, do yourself a favor—order it. You might just taste a little comfort, a little nostalgia, and a whole lot of soul.
